Indy MotoGP?

Bonjour!
I was just looking to see if any of the Tech 3 fans will be coming over for the Indy round? We'll be there all weekend in campsite 2A outside of turn 1. Look for a Yamaha banner and another saying "The Doctor, Tornado and Kentucky Kid" Might have a flagpole too with a Texas flag too but not sure at this point. Hope to see you guys there, lets talk! :)

What a crazy weekend! Weather to the bikes to the riders and all of the great people we met, what an experience! I have no clue how they stayed up in the MotoGP race, seriously it was a good call to cut the race short. The Yamaha tent that was blown over was HUGE, I heard there were a few people who were injured. Fortunately it was nothing more.

I ran into a few of the Tech3 mechanics, even Colin's crew chief who was nice enough to sign the banner I airbrushed with his bike on it. I know that most of them weren't expecting a "hello" or a question in French but I did my best and changed to english because my French vocab ran short! All of the T3 mechanics were very nice, unfortunately their weekend didn't go as well as planned. Hopefully they're able to reap the benefits of that hard work in the final 4 races of the season.

I'll post some pics up when I have them available later in the week. :D

We have just got back from Indianapolis. We stayed with friends who put a message on from us but we wanted to say a big thank you for letting us look in the garage. That made our weekend !!!! James and Colin were brilliant. Not all riders stop for photos and have a chat but they went out of their way to talk to us. Shame about James position but what can you do when the tires do not do the job !!!!!

Everybody in the team were really friendly to us (especially as we were wearing funny hats !!!) We do have some other photos and we will send them to you.

Our sons are big fans and as the new school term had started they could not come so when we showed them the photos they could not believe we had met James and gone in the garage !!! Our eldest Jack is not talking to us !!! Next year it is in the school holidays so hopefully we can all come !!!!

Unfortunatley we cannot afford to go to Japan but good luck to you all !!!

Yes the Tech 3 boys were awesome! Both Colin and JT took time to sign a drawing for me as well as Colin's chief mechanic! The mechanics I think were a little surprised for someone in the US to attempt to speak French to them (albeit very poor French!) but I think they appreciated the effort. I asked one of them where a guy could get one of their crew shirts. Much to my surprise he said if one was lying around he would have given me one! Unfortunately this wasn't the case so a friendly 'bonjour' and 'salut' was good enough for me :)
