Monster Yamaha Tech 3 Team riders Colin Edwards and Ben Spies are delighted to unveil a special livery for their YZR M1s at this weekend's US Grand Prix at the Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca.

As the duo have been dubbed “Team Texas,” this special livery will depict the red, white, and blue of the Texas state flag and celebrate the first time they have raced on the same team in an American Grand Prix. The special graphic will also appear on each riders' leathers and on T-shirts worn by both riders. Edwards will use his famous T-shirt cannon to launch some of the limited edition shirts to the crowd during Saturday evening's concert and rider interview session at 6:00 p.m. on the main stage in the Yamaha marketplace.

“Both of our riders are really excited about being together on home soil” said Hervé Poncharal, Manager of the Monster Yamaha Tech 3 Team. “And we hope the US fans will join us in supporting Team Texas.”
